RBS Backs Cardiff Recruitment Agency Expansion
Recruit 121, an international SAP® specialist recruitment agency based in Cardiff, has embarked on a new expansion strategy with a funding package from its new banking partner, The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
The organisation currently employs 50 people – 23 of which are based in the EMEA Headquarters in Cardiff, Wales. Due to global trends and market demands, the organisation’s expansion plans culminated in the strategic launch of its US subsidiary, Recruit 121 LLC in 2003, closely followed with another successful office launch in the Netherlands in 2006. Asia Pacific and Africa are under consideration.
Through the enquiry of business development options, CEO and founder Chris Holcroft, along with the organisations EMEA Managing Director, Che Hookings, approached Joanne O’Keeffe, Business Development Manager from the RBS Commercial Banking team in Cardiff, Wales.
In collaboration with her colleague Justin Thomas from RBS Invoice Finance, they provided a working capital facility worth £1.75 million. The bespoke financial solution will be used to assist Recruit 121 in its international growth strategy, further cementing their position in the marketplace in planned growth.
